Hiking on the customs trail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are many coves nestling in the Baie de la For\u00eat, which stretches from Beg Meil<\/strong> to Fort du Cabellou, and includes Port-la-For\u00eat and Concarneau. To discover all these secret spots, you can walk a portion of the famous GR34<\/strong>. Nicknamed the ” sentier des douaniers” (customs officers’ path)<\/strong> because of its original use, this hiking trail guarantees the best access to the most beautiful viewpoints in this little corner of paradise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the slipway, stroll to the Belle \u00c9poque villas of the Pointe de Beg Meil<\/strong>, witnesses to a noble resort in the early 19th century and visits by artists such as Sarah Bernhardt and Marcel Proust. You’ll overlook the postcard-perfect Plage des Oiseaux<\/strong>. Then continue on to Pointe de Mousterlin<\/strong>, at the entrance to the Mer Blanche. Beg Meil beaches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Beg Meil coves<\/strong>, facing theGl\u00e9nan archipelago<\/a>, offer a succession of long, renowned beaches. These wide-open spaces with direct access to the open sea invite you to put down your towel and dive into the turquoise waters of this idyllic holiday destination in the heart of the Breton Riviera<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You’ll be spoilt for choice! The most emblematic beach, and the one closest to the Pointe de Beg Meil<\/strong>, is Plage des Dunes<\/strong>, with its sand reeds and blue thistles. Then there’s Kerambigorn beach<\/strong>, supervised in summer and packed with sporting activities (beach volleyball, sandball, beach rugby, snowshoeing…). Then we come to Kermil beach<\/strong>, with its fascinating palette of colors. This is followed by Maner Coat Cl\u00e9varec beach<\/strong> (Pavillon Bleu), which is supervised in summer, and Cleut Rouz beach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the bay side, there’s also the large, supervised Cap Coz beach<\/strong> (Pavillon Bleu), with PRM access. The Kersentic campsite is located just behind this beach: in just a few minutes, it provides access to a wide choice of coastal sites, all within a very tight radius. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camping in Beg Meil near the creeks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located in Beg Meil<\/strong>, in the commune of Fouesnant<\/strong>, the Kersentic campsite<\/a> is just a few minutes from Port-la-For\u00eat, with the famous La For\u00eat-Fouesnant marina and racing boat harbor. Like the Beg Meil slipway<\/strong>, the port of Fouesnant is also a departure point for cruises to discover the Gl\u00e9nan archipelago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
